Becky Buller: Christmas 45, Volume 2
Award-winning bluegrass artist Becky Buller is celebrating the premiere and radio release of her Christmas 45, Volume 2 on Dark Shadow Recording this morning on “Coffee, Country & Cody” Nashville’s WSM and Circle TV. Produced by Dark Shadow Recording label head Stephen Mougin, the release include two singles: “The Box”, and a-cappella “Mary Rocked Her Baby” featuring The Fairfield Four.
“Surprise and merry Christmas, everybody!! These two new tunes are our gift to you this holiday season,” says Buller.
“’The Box’ was co-written with the fantastic dancing Canadian fiddler April Verch and features my insanely talented road band. The Grammy award-winning Fairfield Four and I recorded ‘Mary Rocked Her Baby’ all the way back on Thanksgiving weekend 2016!! I’m especially excited to release this song this year because is is The Four’s 100th anniversary as a band. (These gentlemen are obviously the third generation of the group.) This one was co-written with the incomparable Lisa Aschmann from right here in Nashville.”
My prayer for all of us is that we spread the light of hope, joy, peace and love wherever we go.”
Becky Buller is a ten-time International Bluegrass Association Award-winning artist. She made history by being the first artist ever to win in both instrumental and vocal categories at the 2016 IBMA Awards, as well as being the first female to ever win IBMA’s “Fiddle Player of the Year.” Since 2018, Becky has moonlighted with the all-female supergroup, The First Ladies of Bluegrass, which has been recognized recently at the Country Music Hall of Fame with their own exhibit.
